| Jennifer Jennifer has been Assistant Professor of Dance at Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota since 1998. She too has been an Adjunct Dance Instructor at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota since 2001. She earned her BFA in dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and studied at the Graham and Alvin Ailey schools in New York City while attending UArts. In 1992 she moved to Minneapolis and joined the Minnesota Dance Theatre Company. She began teaching in the Young Children's, Adult, and Performing Arts divisions of the Minnesota Dance Theatre and School where she took on the position as Assistant to the Artistic Director, a position she held for 14 years. Jennifer has taught and performed at The Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis and is an active participant with independent choreographers in Minneapolis. In August 2002 and 2004, Jennifer traveled to Yaroslavl, Russia as a participant in Link Vostok's "International Festival of Movement and Dance on the Volga." There she served as Assistant to the Executive Director and taught ballet and modern dance. Currently, Jennifer teaches in the dance departments of Saint Olaf and Carleton Colleges in Northfield and teaches at Valley Dance and Fitness in Stillwater. |
